The strawberry delight explores the beautiful craft of Indian traditional dyeing technique called Leheriya. In our classic tier dress shape, this hand dyed piece is obviously made with 100% silk organza. Inspired by the pinks from India's Holi days & Trinidad's Jouvert mornings, we feel it embodies pure joy. Comes with a matching pink slip in 100% bemberg Satin.
Made from 100% Silk. Hand dyed by a 4th generation master Leheriya craftsman in Jaipur. The craft of Leheriya is traditional to Rajasthan, India, and is one of the oldest artforms of the country, finding its origin in the 17th century. In the Leheriya Process, the fabric is diagonally rolled and tied at equal intervals to create a resist which creates a diagonal wave effect.
