We travelled with with our mums for this collection, and really immersed ourselves in the rich history of both Banaras and Lucknow. Meeting artisans across crafts, sharing their stories and processes with us. We also got to spend time and stay with cute families and even attend a full-on Banarasi band baaja baraat shaadi. 

We pulled inspiration from the shaadi garlands and created our own mandap and styled it with finds from our travels, to working with market finds to create various headpieces and jewellery. This collection was a mash up of handwoven brocades, zardozi work and chikan embroidery to bring our vision to life.
