NBNW ships from our sweet studio in New Delhi, India. This is where we conceptualize, ideate, design, and create everything we do.
WHERE ALL DO YOU SHIP?
NBNW ships worldwide via all major international courier companies - your shipment will be sent via FedEx, DHL, or UPS, depending upon the destination country.. All domestic orders in India are sent via DTDC.
WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING CHARGES?
We provide free shipping across India and free international shipping on orders above 250USD. Covid years made us realise that shipping costs are like everything else in the world, everchanging. Please note that the shipping charges are thus subject to change and reevaluation periodically.
WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?
We’re completely made to order, which means your order is specifically made for you, once the order is received. For you, every style you get will be handmade especially by our superstar team, and each stage of the production process will be traceable, hand by hand. For us, as a small business, it helps us to predict and regulate our costs. And for our mothering environment, it creates fewer piles of inventory, meaning lesser piles of waste.
Given our model, it takes us about 3-4 weeks to get an order ready and ship it out. This time is divided between our team planning the production, our artisan communities dyeing and/or screen-printing by hand or hand embroidering a piece, our delivery partners getting the textiles to us, our pattern master cutting and marking the patterns, and finally our tailors stitching your piece out. The pandemic taught us that too many factors in the process are beyond our control. If for any reason, your order is delayed, our team will get in touch with you on priority to share the reason and an estimated shipping date with you.
I WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER SOONER FOR AN EVENT. CAN YOU DO THAT?
If in case you’d like your shipping timeline to be reduced, please reach out to us at email@example.com. We’re delighted you want to take your NBNW out for an outing and would try our level best to get your order to you asap! Our team will make a priority production plan for you and share the same with an estimated shipping date. Please note, priority production and shipping, may incur additional charges.
WHAT ARE THE DELIVERY TIMELINES FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS?
Once your order has been shipped, we will share the tracking details with you via email. Please expect to receive your order within 7 business days of the shipping date. For all shipments within India please expect to receive your order within 5 business days from the shipped date. Each stage of the delivery will also be communicated to you via email.
ARE THERE ANY PARTICULAR SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS I NEED TO KEEP IN MIND?
We ship worldwide! However, all shipping services based in India do not deliver to a PO Box address. When you're inputting your shipping address, please provide an address that doesn't include a PO Box Number and that's all we need from you :)
HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?
After your order is shipped, we’ll share the shipping information along with the name of the shipping service and tracking number with you. You can track your order on the respective shipping service’s site, or just follow the link in the email shared with you. We’re also currently working on getting a login option and account info up, so you can view everything related to your order on our online store! Each stage of the delivery will also be communicated to you via email.
WILL COVID-19 AFFECT THE DELIVERY FOR MY ORDER? IF SO, HOW?
There isn’t an aspect of our lives the pandemic hasn’t had an impact on. Of course, sometimes international shipping is no different. While our shipping agents try their best for you to get your order asap, there may be some instances where an order delivery may be slightly delayed, owing to pandemic restrictions, limited personnel, and/or delays at customs. If so, it is our priority to communicate the same with you and coordinate deliveries with our shipping partners.
WILL I BE CHARGED CUSTOM FEES?
Custom duties/taxes/charges can be charged once the parcel reaches its destination country– NBNW is not responsible for these charges and we are not aware of what these charges would be for each destination country, if applicable. We would recommend contacting your local custom office to inquire about what these rates would be for parcels being shipped from India to your country of residence.
WHAT IF THE PACKAGE IS RETURNED DUE TO FAILED DELIVERY?
For any failed attempts of delivery pertaining to an incorrect address, multiple failed attempts to reach you or refusal to pay custom fees - NBNW does not take responsibility for shipping fees pertaining to the return shipment of your order. Once the package is returned back to us, we will not be able to refund your original shipping fees, if any, any custom duties/taxes incurred in your destination country as well as in India, and the shipping charges of getting your package back to us. If your order is to be sent to you again, you will have to respectfully pay the shipping fees once again. We would love to help you here which is why it's important to provide us with the correct shipping information from the get-go or reach out to us if by mistake you enter an incorrect shipping address, and enquire about any custom fees beforehand. MY ORDER TRACKS DELIVERED BUT I HAVEN’T RECEIVED IT. WHAT CAN I DO NOW?
Although unlikely, but if you received a delivery confirmation and aren’t able to locate your order, here’s the first steps :
> Check with your neighbour or any other person in your apartment building who may have collected the package on your behalf.
> The delivery agent could not reach you for any reason and dropped the package off at the nearest access point.
> The shipping service accidentally marked the package as delivered and instead will be delivering it the next day.
In either of these cases, it is best to contact the shipping service locally at the earliest. The sooner they know, the better they can resolve the issue. If ultimately the package is not traced, please contact us at email@example.com and we’ll further assist you in whatever way possible.
